On 10th March the Tibetan Community of Qld joined Tibetans all around the world in commemorating the Lhasa uprising of 1959. We held a Rally in Brisbane and marched peacefully from King George Square to New Farm Park.

We walked for our future to promote values such as peace and non-violence. Together we sent a strong message to the Chinese government that we will be the saviors of these values for our future generation. We won’t let our future generations to suffer similar to what Tibetans are suffering right now.

The Tibetan Community Queensland Inc. (TCQ) was established in 2006 and registered on 18th August 2006 under the Associations Incorporations Act 1981. The TCQ is a local community organisation representing the interests of Tibetans residing in Queensland, Australia.
