Visit from Geshe Lhakdor-la

On 5th May the Tibetan Community of Queensland were honored to receive a visit from Geshe Lhakdor-la, the Director of the Library of Tibetan Works and Archives in Dharamsala, India.

He gave a special talk to the community about how to preserve our Tibetan culture and also about the benefits of practicing peace, loving kindness and compassion.

The Tibetan Community Queensland Inc. (TCQ) was established in 2006 and registered on 18th August 2006 under the Associations Incorporations Act 1981. The TCQ is a local community organisation representing the interests of Tibetans residing in Queensland, Australia.
